This is my second Glitty MacBook skin.

From an aesthetic perspective, they worked with me to produce a custom engraving which included type symbols. Per attached photo, it came out beautifully and the rosewood looks great.

From a function perspective, I took the skin to my steady handed tech guru for application and it was the work of five minutes to apply it. The case is real wood, and I recommended running a very fine sandpaper over it to smooth away any rough edges or teensy splinters.

As far as use is concerned, I usually study in a recliner and case stops my MacBook sliding around on my lap or when propped up on a cushion. It is neutral rather than cool to the touch. My last one lasted the life of my previous MacBook and I expect this one will do the same.

When we encountered shipping challenges, Glitty diligently followed up until the issue was resolved. Given how great the product is and how good their customer service, Glitty will be my first if not only consideration for MacBook and iPhone case needs well into the future! Now can you make a Kindle case? Then my set will be complete. ;-)

I have spent too much money on sub-par cases from Amazon, that don’t last. Never again. The walnut case from Glitty is worth every penny. I love the look and it makes me feel a sense of nature while in the digital realm. The case is seamless. Also, the owners went above and beyond to make sure I got the right case. The American Postal Service managed to really mix up my order... making this one of the most well traveled laptop cases you'll ever see as it criss-crossed the country multiple times, inexplicably, on it's route to me. Trevor and Melissa kept in contact with me the entire time, however, and were even in the process of making a new case entirely for me when, lo and behold, it arrived one day on my doorstep.
Alas, I still can't explain why the USPS felt the need to hold onto my case for so long, but now that I finally have it, I love it. It fits perfectly and looks fantastic. And I very much appreciate Trevor and Melissa's communication throughout the process.

Stunning!!! Why do I say stunning? Because my wife walked in after I had installed my Cider Leather MacBook Case on my newly purchased 15" MacBook Air, took one look and shouted WOW! This is by far the most beautiful case I’ve ever seen. I don’t normally splurge on pricier ones but heck, I’ve already spent thousands on a MacBook… might as well spend a little more on a quality case. I’m still shocked at how nice it is and receive compliments whenever I take it out.

I received my rosewood case this weekend and I'm obsessed! It looks exactly as pictured -- expensive and sleek. The quality is well worth the price. I didn't want a boring case but needed the protection that most "designer" cases don't offer. This is perfect. Ended up purchasing the rosewood matching trackpad because I feel it'll complete the overall look. I'll likely save up for a case for my phone as well. Not paid to write this but I depend on honest reviews before making pricier purchases, so I wanted to provide my own.

The case is fantastic quality, as well as the customer service!!! I love it so much. It has a smooth, not too shiny finish. It seems durable, and is very well crafted. It was easy to put onto my computer and it clicks on swiftly, without putting excessive pressure on or damaging my computer.

Note, it smelled like fresh wood when it arrived which is dissipating as time goes on.

This blue leather case is so beautiful on my Mac! I have had wood cases from Glitty but this is by far the best - excellent craftsmanship and quality. I get compliments on it all the time! The customer service at Glitty is by far the best too! I highly recommend them for your next computer case!
