Find Your iPad Model (Updated 2024)

Step 1: Find Your Model Number

Option 1: Use “About” In Your Settings

On your iPad, open the settings menu and select “About”. This will show you your iPad model number. Use the chart below to locate your model name using your model number.

 

Option 2: Find Your Model Number on the back of your iPad

On the bottom of your iPad, you will find a small amount of text (pictured below). In that text, you will see the word ‘Model’ - whatever comes after that is your model number.
